The technical staff at CSTI Acoustics has over 50 years of combined experience in solving acoustical problems. Key members of the technical staff include Robert D. Bruce and Arno S. Bommer.
Robert D. Bruce
Bob Bruce has been active in acoustics since his graduate thesis at MIT in
1966. A registered professional engineer in Texas, Bob was elected a
Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America for his contributions in
noise control. Board Certified in Noise Control Engineering, he has also
served as the President of the Institute of Noise Control Engineering
(INCE).
Arno S. Bommer
A graduate of MIT, Arno Bommer has over 15 years of experience in
acoustics. He is Board Certified by INCE and is currently a Vice-President
in INCE. Arno has extensive experience in computer-assisted sound modeling.
He has also made detailed noise measurements and designed noise control
treatments.
Kimberly A. Lefkowitz
Kim is a Consultant at CSTI. She has analyzed noise and AIV problems in LNG
plants, reviewed gear vibrations in industrial situations, analyzed gear noise
and vibration for helicopter gear boxes, performed locomotive train horn
inspections, and analyzed gas compressor skid noise. A graduate of Vassar and
currently a Ph.D. student at Penn State, Kimberly Lefkowitz has studied acoustics
and physics since 2000. She has been involved in the Acoustical Society of
America, both as a member and the secretary of the State College Chapter in
Centre Pennsylvania.
Noel W. Hart
Noel is a Consultant at CSTI. He excels at solving architectural acoustics and
noise control problems. A graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Graduate
Program in Acoustics and the University of Miami’s Audio Engineering Program, he
has been immersed in the audio and acoustical world for nearly a decade. He is
well versed in the usage of computer models to aide in acoustical predictions
including auralization.
